Midweek Manicure // My favourite polishes for Valentine's Day

Last year I did a couple of Valentine’s Day themed nail art looks (white and red love hearts and roses and polka dots) so this year I thought I’d share some of my favourite polishes to wear at this time of year if you want a simpler way to show some Valentine’s spirit.

L – R:

OPI – Señorita Rose-Alita

This is a really pretty purpley-pink with a gold shimmer running through it which looks so lovely as the light shines on it.

Nails Inc – Will (Royal Wedding Limited Edition) 

This is one of my all time favourite red polishes. It’s the most beautiful pillar box red and is just the perfect glossy red for Valentine’s.

No 7 – Lucky Lilac

I love a lilac nail polish and this one is so pretty with pink undertones. I love the brush on this polish too, it’s really wide which makes application a dream!

Barry M – Princess

If you can’t wear peachy pink sparkly nails on Valentine’s Day then when can you?! If Katie Price were a nail polish it would be this one! 

Barry M Matte Nail Paint – Crush

I absolutely adore this nail polish! It’s the most beautiful deep berry colour with a sophisticated matte finish. Just perfect for a vampy Valentine’s look!

OPI – Bearest of them All

I last used this polish to create a Christmas nail art look and the pretty white hearts and red confetti make it perfect for Valentine’s Day too! It would look great layered over matte black for a cute chalkboard style look and I also think it looks pretty sweet with a nude base too.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine – Dragonfruit

This is such a pretty Barbie pink! I don’t tend to wear pink that often but when I do I find myself reaching for this beauty.

NYC – Spring Tulip

This bright coral is absolutely stunning and dries with a wonderful glossy finish. I think this may be my favourite of them all!
