I bought this polish whilst on holiday in Lanzarote last year and can’t quite believe it’s taken this long to make it into a Midweek Manicure post! I was drawn to the colour as it was quite unlike anything else in my collection (quite a feat as I have over 200 polishes!) It’s a very autumnal colour so thought would be the perfect way to kick off my October Midweek Manicure posts – enter Military Khaki by Lola.
I love the packaging of this polish, it’s very simple but I think it looks really high end, along the same lines as the Chanel packaging. I can’t remember exactly how much it was but I think it was about £5 – £6.
The brush is quite small and doesn’t pick up much polish, but this does mean that you get a more precise manicure. I’m quite an impatient pickle and usually end up with polish everywhere which I have to tidy up later, but this brush forces you to to make lots of small strokes to coat the nail, so it ended up a lot neater than normal! I was worried this would result in a streakier finish but after two coats the nails look as smoothly coated as when using a polish with a larger brush.
I really like the colour as it’s quite unusual to find such a true khaki. I think it’s a really nice colour for work as it’s quite muted but more interesting than a standard pink or nude.
Lovely colour! Khaki is so hard to find in nail polishes, but I'm glad I found this!Joelle xxFebruaryGirl.
