The sun has been shining quite a lot in London over the last couple of weeks, which has been making me feel very much that Spring has finally sprung hurrah! It’s still a little bit chilly in the shade though, so my go-to outfit has been jeans and my brand new Converse Mint ‘All Star OX’ Women’s Pumps from Swimwear365.co.uk*
I spent a lovely evening a few weeks ago at a Cocktail Making Master Class with the team from Swimwear365 and they very kindly offered me the chance to choose an item from their website to refresh my Spring wardrobe. Thanks guys! This sounds easy right?! Wrong! Their website sells ‘All year round holiday fashion’ – so many amazing clothes and accessories from swimwear to knitwear, bags to shoes and everything in between! They also sell men’s and kids ranges too, and stock heaps of different brands. A fashion blogger’s dream!
I am a sucker for mint green, and pastel colours are very on trend right now, so my eye was instantly drawn to these gorgeous Converse trainers. I’m not usually a trainer kind of gal and haven’t owned Converse before, but thought these would be great and practical for wearing après-ski on my skiing holiday last month. I thought they were so pretty I’d also love wearing them back home in London too (which was good, as they didn’t actually arrive in time for my ski trip!)
I’m so glad I chose them as they are so comfy and great for the Spring weather we’ve been having – nice and cool in the sunshine whilst keeping my feet covered and warm when the wind is blowing. I love the classic iconic design and think the green and white look really nice and girlie but also pretty cool! They go with everything too – dressed down with jeans or matched with a skater skirt for a cute, quirky look.
Now I don’t normally post pics of myself on my blog, but here’s a few awkward shots of me playing around in the park in my new pastel pumps – including an attempt at photographing jumping off the kids balance beam which didn’t go quite to plan! Sad-face!
I live in Brixton in London. I eat out far too much, am always planning my next trip and have a borderline unhealthy obsession with Harry Potter.
