Well Spring has finally started to spring here in London (ignoring this week’s snow flurries of course!) The sun is slowly but surely starting to elbow the rain clouds out the way and make an appearance. Hurrah! With new weather comes new wardrobe wants so I thought I’d share a few of the pieces I’m lusting after right now.
Bomber jackets are the thing to be wearing at the moment. Initially horrified at the idea (I used to wear one as my school coat in the 90’s) I’ve fallen in love with their relaxed look and way they can be dressed up or down. I love the suedette finish of this New Look one as it adds a touch of glamour to the style and the black colour and relaxed shape means it will go with everything.
I adore sandal season and am so happy when it’s finally time to get my tootsies back out! My doctor recently told me off for wearing totally flat shoes so I am on the hunt for footwear with at least a slight heel. These tan and black leather cross strap sandals are really classic and will go with everything and I love that they don’t have a toe post, to prevent blisters and flip flop burn! The worst! They have a tiny heel and also a special Ortholite sole which promises to be comfortable and flexible which makes these perfect for walking around the city in – either on an adventure or on my way to work.
I’ve recently bought the Quay Australia My Girl sunglasses and am so impressed by them. They’re mega comfy, really well made and great quality for the price. They have so many amazing styles and next on my To Buy list are these stunning nude and pink mirrored ones – swoon!
I blogged a while ago about my stunning new cream and gold personalised bespoke bangle from Whistle + Bango – I love it! They also do a stunning mint green and silver combination which is perfect for Spring. Don’t forget you can 10% off Whistle+Bango with the code EMSYPICKLE10.
Back packs are still so fashionable and they’re really practical for spring / summer for stashing your water bottle, little jackets, sunglasses and umbrella (the sun maybe out for now but who knows in London when the rain – or snow – will make an appearance again) I really like the structured style of this one with several discrete compartments to keep everything neat and tidy and stop it just falling into the middle of the bag in a mess.
Hale Bob Multi Print Cold Shoulder Dress – £255
How stunning is this dress by Hale Bob UK*?! I love the casual floaty t-shirt style and the antique tile pattern. It’s perfect for laid back city style, festo fabulous and would make the perfect beach cover up too. So versatile.
So there you go – my spring lust list!
