As I blogged on Monday, this week is Parkinson’s Awareness Week so I decided to go for a nice bright blue on my nails to tie in with the Parkinson’s UK charity colours. I absolutely love blue nails and found the perfect one to wear – Cyan Blue by Barry M.
It’s been a long while since I’ve used or bought any of the classic Barry M polishes, as I love their new matte and gel effect finishes so much. However, Cyan Blue has reminded me just how awesome their regular polishes are as well! I’m sorry I ever forgot about you Barry M classics! I definitely won’t be making that mistake again!
Cyan Blue applies really well – one coat gives amazing colour pay off and near perfect coverage. Two coats and you’re left with a really lovely bright blue which looks amazing with a black or white outfit and is really great for this spring weather. And I totally matched the charity cake sale I ran on Wednesday!
Cyan Blue also held up on my nails really well too. I spent Wednesday holding a cake sale at work, so was constantly packing and unpacking cake boxes and rummaging around in the cash box and I only had a tiny bit of chipping on my right thumb at the end of the day. Hurrah!
I’m really pleased with Cyan Blue, and loved being able to match my nails to a fab cause, and know I’m going to get lots of wear out of this polish all year round.
