Midweek Manicure // Binky London – Purple Gel

I love a bit of Made In Chelsea and my favourite character has to be Binky. She’s  sweet, sassy and oh so stylish! One of my first ever Midweek Manicure posts was a Binky inspired monochrome design (click here to check out a cringey old post!) and I was so excited when she bought out her own range of nail polishes – Binky London. I’ve been lucky enough to be sent one of Binky’s latest AW 14/15 nail polishes – Purple Gel* and it’s an absolute beaut. Yeh boi! 

I’ve not tried any Binky London polishes before and am really impressed! Purple Gel is a gorgeous colour, quite a pink toned purple, and applies really nicely. It’s not your typical Autumnal deep ruby purple but is a lot brighter and it’s nice to see in an AW collection. It will be gorgeous for brightening up a dreary day.

Purple Gel applied very smoothly and even with one coat gave a fairly even coverage. Two coats, as pictured here, gave a lovely smooth, glossy finish, just as the gel effect name promises.

The new Binky London AW 14/15 range is made up of five polishes: The Big Smoke, Cobalt, Purple Gel, Mocha Gel and Marrakesh. I love the look of Cobalt and The Big Smoke and would really like to see how these compare with the gel effect Purple.
