Models Own released their new Sticky Fingers range a couple of months ago, which offer a quick and easy way to create some pretty detailed nail art, with a nail polish and complimenting set of nail stickers. There are 7 sticker / polish combinations in the collection and the one which really stood out to me was Pastel Petals Green – a gorgeous pastel green polish (called Green Gladiola) with mixed flowers stickers. Perfect for wearing in the sunshine!
I really like the fact that Pastel Petals Green is the only set in the Sticky Fingers collection which has a nail polish you can’t buy separately. All the others are available without stickers, but Green Gladiola can only be bought as part of a set with the flower stickers. I feel like all the polishes in the Sticky Fingers collection should be exclusive to this range, or else all stickers should be available to buy separately so you can mix and match polishes and stickers.
Anyway, pulling the focus back to this polish…. I LOVE IT! It’s a very pretty colour unlike any other in my collection. It’s a fresh lemon toned green which is quite unique. As with all Models Own polishes it applied well and only needed two coats for a solid, even finish.
The little flower stickers are really cute and feature a range of different colours and types which all look very pretty stuck on top of the green nail paint. They are a little bit fiddly to use as they’re so small but stuck on the nail ok once applied. I really liked that they didn’t have a huge surround like some stickers I’ve used, so once they were stuck on the nail, unless you were really looking, you couldn’t see the outline at all. Beautiful!
Have you tried any of the Sticky Fingers collection?
