Bootiful boots!

So anyone who knows me will tell you that I have a serious addiction to ankle boots. I just love them! They go with everything, can perfectly dress up, funk up or play down any outfit, and are also breathable enough so your feet don’t swelter, yet cover your whole foot area to keep you warm and dry. What’s not to love?!  Whilst on my ever present quest to discover new ankle boots I found these lovely black Cowboy Western Boots from New Look in the ASOS sale.

I love that ASOS is stocking more and more high street brands on their site now (including Primark!) as they offer the best delivery / returns service around and also offer discounts on items that aren’t necessarily on sale in the lead shop themselves.
 

They’re quite plain little black boots with a suedette finish and have a subtle little plait detailing down the outside. The heel is a great size for everyday wear- a comfortable medium height (3 inches) and nice and chunky so you’re not tottering as you run for the bus! They also have a gorgeous little zip running down the back to help get them on and off, which also jazzes them up a bit with the cool metal tipped zipper.

For only £17 (reduced from £24.99) I think these were a great little buy. They’ll be perfect for the autumn weather and are smart enough to wear in the office yet stylish enough for after work drinks too. Bootiful!
