A few weeks ago I posted a mammoth haul including a sneak peek at lots of lovely MakeUp Revolution goodies I bought. My experience of their products is that they’re all fantastic quality and all super affordable, so of course I couldn’t just order one or two things! I thought it was about time I gave you a proper look at these pretty purchases…
**WARNING: This post contains A LOT of lip products!**
One of my favourite lipsticks EVER is Enchant from the MakeUp Revolution Amazing Lipsticks range. It’s brilliant quality for just £1 and I’ve been dying to try more. I really liked the look of Bliss (peachy coral) and Sweetheart (pretty pale pink) and you can never have too many Nude lipsticks.
More lipsticks! I’ve not tried any of the #LipHugs before but they promise to be “a high-shine formula featuring an array of creamy emollients, providing a lasting, glossy finish that leaves lips smooth and sculpted”. Yes please! I chose Good Fun (a corally pink) and I Wasn’t Mixed Up (a beautiful purple). I’m really excited to try these out!
Well obviously I hadn’t ordered enough lip products…..! I went for three of the Salvation Velvet Lacquers which have a matte finish – Keep Lying For You (a stunning purple) I Fall In Love (bright hot pink) and What I Believe (a nude pink shade). I also picked up pinky purple Gave You All My Love, which is a Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer high shine gloss. I love all these shades and can we please just swoon over how pretty the rose gold packaging is too?!
You can’t beat a good lip crayon and I love that these are called Wow Sticks! According to the box they’re supposed to give a really high impact glossy finish (though the product is actually matte) and this bright hot pink will be perfect for summer. Also, not going to lie, I partly chose it because the name Rap-Ture kind of sounds like raptor and that excited my Jurassic Park obsessed mind way too much to resist!
I really struggle to do anything with my brows as nothing really seems to work quite right for me. I’ve heard some amazing things about the Soap & Glory Brow Archery which has a wax pencil on one end and felt tip on the other, but wasn’t too keen on splashing out £10 for a product I might not get on with. Hurrah for MakeUp Revolution! The Dual Arch and Shape looks set to be an amazing dupe for a third of the price so even if it doesn’t work for me it won’t have broken the bank.

I adore Makeup Revolution, I really like the look of that Super Wow Lip Pencil! XO -Kimwww.thethirtysomethinglife.com
