30 Day Snap Challenge | Day 20 – Birthday Cakes!
Big cakes for a little lady!
So today I went to my uncle’s house to celebrate the 1st birthday of my cousin’s little baby Amelie! She’s an absolute sweetheart, a really happy baby and everyone had a really great time celebrating today!
The weather was gorgeous so we had a bbq, Pimms and lots of gossip galore sitting out in the garden! It was so nice to see lots of close friends and family all together complete with 2 crazy dogs running round, 3 contented cats basking in the sun and 4 babies including the birthday girl all enjoying a kiddies bouncy castle!
My cousin had made some AMAZING cakes to mark the occasion – vanilla and raspberry and double chocolate cupcakes, a wicked chocolate and cherry cake and possibly the best gingerbread I’ve ever tasted! She’s promised to send me the gingerbread recipe so I will let you know how I get on at giving it a go!
