Baking | Halloween Cookies

Spooktastically tasty!

Happy Halloween Pickles! What's everyone doing to celebrate? As well as playing with some truly terrifying nail art designs yesterday, I have also been busy baking! Halloween is all about eating some wicked treats, so I couldn't resist making these devilishly delicious sugar biscuits!

I took inspiration from a recipe seen on the good old BBC Food website, and thought they seemed like a really simple and fun way to get in the Halloween spirit! (Spirit, geddit?!) I made a selection of Ginger Dead Men, Vampires, Mummies, Ghosts and Skeletons!

I was pretty happy with how they turned out! I decided to make my own water icing rather than use shop bought fondant, and it was a little bit of a messier finish, but definitely shows they are home made :)

They tasted delicious and I will definitely be using the recipe to make biscuits in the future, and am already planning out some fun festive designs for Christmas! Watch this space....

What do you think of my Halloween cookies?
