Midweek Manicure // Izabelle Hammon IZ News Print & Patterns Nail Wraps

Last week I blogged about my love for false nails as an easy way to rock some jazzy nail art. This week I'm carrying on this theme with these gorgeous News Print & Patterns Nail Wraps* by Izabelle Hammon IZ. I was kindly given these nail wraps at the Bloggers Festival I attended back in the summer and love the black and white newspaper design teamed with the neon yellow and silver accents - very cool!

Izabelle Hammon's Designer Nail Wraps come in a host of different designs but I was really drawn to these as they were quite different to anything I've worn before, have some really detailed patterns, which would be quite tricky to draw out myself, and I thought I could probably get away with them for work as well as play as they aren't too outrageous! I'm so glad I did pick these ones as I absolutely love how they look on my nails!

I like that the design is not perfectly symmetrical - the same sized nail stickers do not necessarily have matching designs. I think this is really cool and allows you to play around and have an even more unique look.

They are quite strong wraps, which is great in that they are long lasting and don't scratch off easily, however this also means that they were a little bit tricky to trim and file down. I usually use a soft nail file but definitely needed to use the rough one which came included in the pack.

Although they weren't the easiest wraps to apply, I really liked the patterns and how distinctive they looked on my nails and how long lasting they were.

Do you prefer nail wraps or false nails?

*Thank you to Izabelle Hammon IZ for giving me the News Print & Patterns Nail Wraps to try out. All thoughts are honest and my own. For more information please see my Disclaimer Page.

  1. Oh these look lush! I've used the Myleene Klass nail wraps before. I'm not the best at doing nails, but found they were so easy to apply, definitely recommend. Have a look in Morrisons as I always find them in the sale there :)
