InstaLIFE // w/c 27th July 2014

How on earth is it August already?! This year is absolutely flying by but I'm really enjoying keeping a record of everything I've been up to through these InstaLIFE posts. So on with some of the highlights from this week...

I met one of my oldest friends Jeni for coffee on Sunday at one of our favourite catch up spots - the Starbucks by the Golden Hinde on the Southbank. We had a good long catch up over iced coffees, breakfast baps and cinnamon swirls, then decided to walk along the river and over the Millennium Bridge to One New Change (next to St Paul's Cathedral) and get some views of the city. St Paul's is one of my favourite London landmarks - it just always looks so stunningly beautiful whatever the weather. Luckily it was a scorcher of a day so we stopped to take lots of pictures. I definitely recommend a trip up to the top of One New Change. It's essentially an outdoor shopping centre (worth going to in itself!) but if you get the lift to the 6th floor you come out on the roof with lovely views across the city. There is a bar up there but you can also wander around free of charge (if like us you spent all your cash on sausage and bacon baps!)

As we wandered back towards London Bridge through St Paul's Gardens we got mega excited as we spotted the Peter Pan Books About Town bench! I wrote about these in an InstaLIFE post a few weeks back and said I really wanted to find the Peter Pan one so I'm so glad I did! We also spotted benches for Paddington Bear, Great Expectations, That's Not My Meerkat and Fever Pitch on our walk. A good day for bench spotters eh!

I reached 500 followers on Bloglovin! I'm so excited and I literally can't believe it so thank you very much everyone! I will be doing a giveaway super soon, I'm just finalising a few little bits and bobs, so watch this space!

How amazingly incredible is this?! It was drawn by Kristina Webb, a teenager from New Zealand who posts her drawings on Instagram under the account Colour_Me_Creative She's so so talented and I love seeing her work when she uploads a new post. Go follow her now - and prepare for one of the biggest "Like"ing sprees of your life!

How cute is this?! I was thrilled when  I came home to find this little guy had been delivered THROUGH MY LETTERBOX as a gift from the team at Baker Days - thank you!! The lovely people at Baker Days will put whatever design you want on a cake and deliver it straight to your door in an adorable tin, and it even comes with a mini card, candles and balloons! What a great idea! I will be posting a full review soon so keep your eyes peeled cake fans!

Does anyone else get nervous before a haircut?! This week I went for a haircut and pampering session at the Gina Conway Aveda salon and spa in Westbourne Grove. I hadn't had my hair cut since October (bad beauty blogger) and was definitely getting a little anxious as my appointment time rolled around - as you can see in the pic below! I needn't have worried however as I was in excellent hands at Gina Conway's and am really happy with my new hair (which you can see on my Instagram page). I'll be doing a full post on my experience at the salon so look out for that coming soon!

We all know I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and it was the boy wizard's birthday on Thursday, so of course my throwback Thursday snap had to be an ode to the most famous forehead of all time! This is a picture of my friends and I playing in Hagrid's pumpkin patch at the Harry Potter Wrap Party (officially The Best Day Of My Life!)

It's pretty much the law that you HAVE to buy something new on payday. As soon as the cash hit my account I hit Boots! I had planned on rebuying my latest fave mascara (Seventeen Maximum Volume Black Mascara) which mysteriously went missing this week, and perhaps a cheeky lipstick too. However I soon saw that there was a buy one get one half price offer on all Seventeen make up, and their new Falsifeye HD Mascara was only £4.99 and before I knew it I had 2 mascara's and 2 lipsticks in my basket! Well it would be rude not to!

Yesterday I was so thrilled to go to the wedding of two of my best friends Laura and James. There'll be more about this in next weeks post, but it really was the most beautiful day and Laura looked absolutely stunning - the perfect Princess Bride. Here's a little sneak peek of my outfit of the day including dress and shoes from New Look, bag from Primark and make up by Models Own. Let me know if you'd like to see another OOTD post showing this look.

Don't forget to send me your Instagram links so I can keep up to date with all your adventures.

  1. This is actually the the majority of typically rolex replica sale for me nicely, alongside the actual Rolex Sky-Dweller research 326938, that is the actual 18k gold rolex replica uk along with coordinating band as well as champagne call inch. In the event that there is have you been a tale associated with absolutely no in order to leading man, it is which from the rolex replica. Unloved as well as undesirable, promoting hardly 500 models yearly within it's conformative many years, the actual rolex replica sale is continuing to grow being probably the most sought after wrist Rolex Replicas ever, powerful year-long waiting around rolex replica sale as well as amazing residuals. The actual query is actually, exactly how do which occur. This is actually the trip which switched Rolex's loss of the Donald right into a hulking excellent Goliath. The actual 60s had been the actual 10 years from the sports activities chronograph. Jack port Heuer's visit because BOSS associated with Heuer led the actual rolex replica sale from the Autavia within 1962 and also the Carrera within 1963.
