On Tuesday I was very excited to be invited along to the swanky Cafe Royal Hotel in Piccadilly for the launch of W7 Cosmetic’s new skincare range oooohhhh!!! There were so many amazing products on display for us all to play with I thought I’d give you a little looksie too!
The venue was amazing and the event was held in one of the luxury 5* suites – it definitely put me in the mood for pampering and decadence! Glass of prosecco in hand, I was introduced to the new skincare selection which looks fabulous! There were plenty of samples out and I had a good play with the new Wakey Wakey day cream, Dreamy Dreamy night cream, Love It eye cream, Dream Clean cleanser and Love Your Hands hand cream.
I have very sensitive skin so am always cautious when trying new creams but the W7 beauties don’t contain lanolin which is a definite skin no-no for me (and is usually found in EVERYTHING!) I was kindly given a sample of the night and day creams so will give these a go and let you know how I get on. I swatched all the creams on my hands and was instantly impressed by how soft they made my skin and how yummy they smell. The hand cream in particular smells absolutely delicious – really fresh and lemony, great for a zingy, moisturising pick-me-up. I really love the bright, bold packaging on this, and across all their products, and think they look so fun and inviting.
As well as their new Skincare range, W7 also had some new Christmas treats for us to take a peek at. The Trilogy sets are great present ideas, comprising of a mascara, lipstick and nail polish, and there was also a special Christmas glitter nail polish. My favourite of all the festive releases has to be the W7 Advent Calendar, Countdown to Christmas. Beauty advent calendars are no new thing, but the W7 offering is only set to be Β£14.99 which is such a good price and includes 10 nail polishes, 7 lip products, 3 glitters, 3 eyeshadows and a mascara! I will definitely be treating myself to one of these bad boys come December.
Lots of other W7 products were on display and I am literally OBSESSED with their range of Chunky Lips lip crayons and Butter Kiss lipsticks. They are all such pretty colours and really well pigmented too. The Butter Kisses in particular are also super creamy and felt like they’d give a lot of moisture to your lips. Ahhhh I want them ALL!!!!
W7 is also renown for doing some amazing dupes. Check out the A Hint of Paradise Lip and Cheek Stains – a fantastic double for the Benefit Tints and at a snip of the price! Also the new W7 Absolute Lashes mascara is a great dupe of the Benefit They’re Real mascara, but priced at Β£4.99 is much more affordable. I love the pricing of W7 as I’m much more likely to experiment and try out more products if they’re not going to break the bank and my experience with the products I have tried is that although they’re mega affordable they don’t compromise on quality. My kind of products!
I thought I’d finish my round up with a few pictures of the venue as it really was gorgeous, and had some stunning views over Piccadilly Circus and down to Westminster which you can just about make out in my selfie below! (and also, will I ever learn where the camera on my iPhone is?!)
