InstaLIFE // w/c Sunday 6th July

I'm really pleased to be doing another of these InstaLIFE posts as I really enjoyed doing them when I first started. Ironically life then got a bit too hectic and I didn't have time to post them what with being away for 3 weekends in a row at a friends hen do and then on holiday. So I thought I'd do a quick round up of the last few weeks in pictures.....

I love a bit of chick lit and am a big Tilly Bagshawe fan. I was so excited when I saw she had a new book out this summer, and luckily The Inheritance was released just before my holiday wahoo! I really enjoyed it and will be posting a review here ASAP. You can check out my review of another of Tilly's books Scandalous here.

My boyfriend hates having his picture taken and always pulls silly faces. Whilst waiting for the bus in Turkey it took several attempts to get a normal smiley one haha so I made a little collage! Bless! (Btw -middle right is his "Tyra Smize" ahahaha!)

On holiday whilst sitting by the pool this lovely little butterfly landed on my finger and sat there for a good few minutes! So pretty!

I am in love with these sandals. They were a total bargain - only £4 from Primark - and super comfy. I love the yellow colour and they also come in mint green. They were perfect to wear in Turkey and I'm hoping to buy another pair, so let me know if you see them in your local Primark as there were none left in Tottenham Court Road last weekend boooo!

I hit 400 followers on Bloglovin wahoo!! Thank you so much everyone I can't believe it!

Very excitingly I went to see Backstreet Boys at Hydye Park last Sunday! I wasn't meant to be going but my friend text me an hour before they went on saying she wasn't able to go anymore and I could have her ticket for £10. Uhhhh yes please! I raced down there, met up with my friends and had one of the best hours of my life! They were so amazing and the crowd was absolutely loving it! My 13 year old self was so so happy! There are tons of videos of the BS Boys over on my Instagram page so head over there to check them out. I'm going to Hyde Park again tomorrow to see Tom Jones so expect to see pics of that next week!

I was really excited to spot one of the Books About Town benches by my office this week, especially as it was one for The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe! How pretty is it?! There are tons of these benches dotted around London at the moment each one representing a classic book and I really want to track more of them down. I'd especially love to see the Peter Pan one.

Friday is all about the statement jewellery for me so it was the perfect opportunity to wear my brand new jazzy turquoise and gold one from Primark. I think it's perfect for brightening up my work outfit and fun for a night out with the girls straight after. You can see what else I bought at Primark here.

Before my girls dinner last night I nipped into Aldo and saw THE CUTEST IPAD CASE EVER!!! Seriously, how adorable is this?! Please make one for iPad Minis Aldo!!!

So there you go! I will hopefully be able to stay on track uploading an InstaLIFE post every week! Don't forget you can follow me on Instagram at Instagram.com/emsypickle and on Bloglovin to keep up to date with all my news and posts.

  2. Those sandals are so nice, If only I was going on holiday and justify buying more summer clothes/shoes! My boyfriend is also a lover of funny faces and never smiling in photos so I always end up with little collages like these :D
