Fashion // Emi Jewellery - Silver Spotted Feather festival necklace

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you'll know I'm a real statement necklace kinda gal. I just think they're such an easy way to jazz up an outfit and look effortlessly chic and glam. I also adore festival jewellery and adding fun, bold pieces to my look to really get in the festival spirit. So I was super excited when this funky Silver Spotted Feather statement necklace came through my door from Emi Jewellery*, and I knew it would be perfect to wear at the Hyde Park British Summer Time festival last weekend.

I wouldn't usually wear this style of necklace on a day-to-day basis as I usually go for chunkier metal or bead styles that look smart and sophisticated for the office, however it is absolutely the perfect necklace for festivals and summer fun. It has a gorgeous double silver ring base (which looks lovely when the sun reflects off of it), and smaller delicate chains, beads and spotted feathers dangling off of it, which flutter in the wind and look lovely. Festo-fabulous or what?!

The feathers are so pretty - a gorgeous blue-brown-grey colour and spotted design, they would go with any colour outfit. I styled mine with an oversized plain black tee to let the necklace really take centre stage.

Not only does this necklace look fab, it's also really practical for wearing at festivals as it's very lightweight and cool. I do find some of my chunkier statement necklaces can be a bit heavy, and not ideal for wearing in the heat (and definitely not ideal for jumping and dancing around like a loony!)

Emi Jewellery has so many gorgeous pieces on their website, and all at really affordable prices too. As well as fabulous festival styles (they do the Spotted Feather Necklace in a hot pink colour too!) they also do elegant jewelled pieces,  simple classic looks and a wide range range of rings, bracelets, earrings and charms too.

What sort of jewellery do you like to wear at festivals?

  2. In the 50s, 60s and 70s, the Indian fashion scenario was colorful and stylish, in the end of 20th century it was quite subdued and with the beginning of the 21st century it has geared up and is still experiencing the growth with many spectrums of colours. Though this industry is growing at a very good pace, besides achieving a negligible share in the global market, still it needs to make severe efforts to stand amongst international fashion market in various aspects. experimental fashion
