Lifestyle | InstaLIFE w/c 8th June

First off - Happy Father's Day everyone! I hope everyone enjoys celebrating their wonderful dad's / being a dad with their families today! I came back to my parent's house last night to spend the evening with my dad - who is AWESOME btw - before taking him out to lunch with my brother today. I'm sure there'll be some dad-selfies (delfies?!) in next week's InstaLIFE round up, so let's get on with today's!

Last Sunday my boyfriend and I headed out towards Watford to celebrate his Grandad's 90th birthday! His mum had organised a surprise party at a country pub and it was so nice to see everyone and for Grandad George to celebrate with all his family. I wore my new pink floral dress from Primark - which will be reviewed here in my very first OOTD post very soon.

I've been to Primark 3 times this week (ssshhh don't tell!) and each time I've fallen in love with this chevron cushion! I've held off buying a few so far (as I really don't need any more cushions!) but I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out - it's so cool!!

One thing I couldn't resist buying however was this beaut of a necklace which was only £3. THREE POUNDS! I got loads of compliments online and in real life when wearing this and no one could believe it was from Primark, or that it was ONLY THREE POUNDS!!!!

On Thursday we had a work trip to the Tower of London. It was amazing and somewhere I've never actually visited before (and I call myself a Londoner - pah!) We were only there for a couple of hours having a tour of the chapel but I did manage to nab a photo with a Yeoman Warder (soooo cool and professional Emsy!)

Whilst walking through Shoreditch I spotted this cool pixelated style Star Wars street art on the side of a multi storey car park - it's reasons like this I love London.

I had a girls night out on Thursday - Vietnamese food at Cay Tre on Old Street then for gin and tonics at the rooftop bar at The Dollshouse on Hoxton Square. I had such a good night filled with fun, friends and pho!

I reached 350 followers on Bloglovin' yaaaayyy!! A small milestone for some, it's a big one for me - I can't believe anyone other than my mum reads, so thanks to everyone who follows! Kisses all round!

I nipped into Boots with the intention of buying myself some Barry M goodies as a little Friday treat, but got waylaid at the Seventeen stand. LIMITED EDITION LIP CRAYONS EVERYBODY!!!!! I picked up a set of these bad boys in the Boxing Day sales and LOVE them so thought it only right I take advantage of the "Buy 2 items get a limited edition lip crayon" free deal. I bought their maximum volume mascara and a mirror shine lipstick and chose the pink lip crayon. I'm now regretting I didn't pick up another 2 things to get the other orangey shade crayon. I think that might have to be done today!

I decided to bake my dad some biscuits for Father's Day and thought it was the perfect opportunity to try out my new Neat Ideas Bake It Personal Customised Cookie Set. Ooohhh! It allows you to stamp whatever message you want into your biscuits - amazing! I will be posting my biscuit recipe as well as a review of the Cookie kit very soon so watch this space.
