Midweek Manicure | Halloween Nail Art

Terrifying Tips

As we all know, I love getting in the spirit of things with a bit of nail art! So of course Halloween was going to be no different! There's been lots of designs floating around the internet so I thought I'd try my hand at it too! Now I'm not known for my amazing presentation skills, so some of them are slightly more fail art than nail art, but hey, it's the taking part that counts. Right?!

Now I know a bad worksman always blames his tools (love that phrase!) but I was having a few difficulties with my nail art pens, where they refused to play ball, and either didn't release any colour, or else just squeezed the watery stuff out rather than actual colour booo! So they're not all as neat as I would have liked! Perhaps I should ask Santa for some for Christmas? Let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations!

Left to Right:
White & Halloween glitter tips
Weird skull face thing
Ghost

Left to Right:
Mummy (with fewer bandages than wanted - curse you nail art pen!)
Bat flying across the moon
Blood

Left to Right:
Frankenstein's Monster
Pumpkin
Dracula

Black Matte and green / orange glitter tip (sorry a bit tricky to photograph)

They were all super simple to create, and look really fun and festive! My favourite design is actually the black nail with orangey-green glitter tip which looks really cool and is a slightly more subtle way of rocking the halloween vibe! It will also add a bit of glitz and glamour to any Monsters Ball outfit!

So there you have it! Not my finest work, but maybe I can say they were supposed to be scarily bad?! Geddit?! Let me know if you'd like to know how I created any of the looks / what colours I used. And please do send me links to your nail art in the comments, I'd love to see!

Also, remember to check back tomorrow when I will be sharing with you my spooky Halloween biscuits <insert spooky evil cackle>.......

What's your favourite design above?
